GalleryRipper is a tool capable of downloading at once all the images present on a Web page. You can choose to download all the available images or only those you are really interested in. The program can follow the hyperlinks on a page and download the images in the linked pages, too. Besides, you can also choose the format of the image files for the program to download, among JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, and BMP.
The program includes a sort of very basic Web browser where you can type a URL and navigate to the corresponding Web page. On the left side, there is a panel that the program uses to list all the available hyperlinks in one tab – be they images or texts – and the images they link to on the other. You can select any of those elements on an individual basis, but there are also shortcuts that allow you to select all the text links, all the thumbnail links or all the images at once. This way, you can tell the program which hyperlinks to follow and which images to download from the current Web page. Additionally, the program allows you to open multiple Web pages using its tabbed navigation system and select on each page multiple images for downloading, so that you can grab a large amount of images from various Web sites with a single click.
Moreover, there are some key parameters the program allows you to configure by means of the "Options" window. For example, you can set the maximum load time per link and the minimum and maximum size of the images to be downloaded. You can also set a default home page for the Web browser. In conclusion, GalleryRipper is a versatile tool that will allow you to grab many images from multiple Web sites and save them on your hard disk, all in one single operation.
